Young God Blow and DAM3 return with labelmate Suavesculture with a new banger, “SLIDE”. At this point, it’s possible that this collective isn’t capable of putting out a bad song. Perhaps the quality control is just better than most. Whatever the case may be, every release solidifies their spot in the hip-hop genre.
This single is markedly darker and gritter than the last few that the label dropped. Unlike many tracks featuring multiple artists, “SLIDE” feels cohesive, like all participants actually feel like part of a team.
Suavesculture’s smooth delivery on the chorus is the perfect balance to YGB and DAM3’s relentless verses.
