K4YLEE (Kaylee Rogers) is a 19-year old alternative rock artist from a small town in Texas.

She turned to writing early in life in order to get out her feelings and cope with the limitations of where she was living. What started out as filling up diaries and journals morphed into crafting full fledged songs.

Her new single “LEFT FOR DEAD” is her third official release and the music seems to only get better with every drop.

There’s obvious comparisons to be made to bands like In This Moment, which “LEFT FOR DEAD” is certainly similar to. After a few listens, I began to notice the tone in her voice more and it reminded me so much of one of my favorites, Brody Dalle of The Distillers.

K4YLEE channels the punk rock attitude well and combines it with alternative rock/metal in a way that feels refreshing. This is clearly someone that isn’t taking any shit, and I respect that immensely.
