Sarah Harralson is a singer/songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee.
She had an early interest in music, beginning to write songs at just 10 years old.
She released her debut EP in 2014 and was discovered by Scotty Schultz, (drummer for Shooter Jennings).
Harralson was one of the first signees of Schultz’ publishing company, Raindrop Music, just a short year later.
This helped launch her into the next stage of her career where she would go on to sign with Johnny Garcia (lead guitar, Garth Brooks) and Busy at Play Publishing.
After making all those moves, Harralson is ready to prove herself with her new single, “The Chance”.
When I first heard the song I was immediately taken aback by the lush fiddle (or violin) in the intro.
I love the melancholy, folk inspired vocal performance. It reminds me a lot of one of my new favorites, Jessamynn.
The message of not limiting yourself and life being short is one that I think is important for all of us to remember. It’s so easy to get caught up in taking things for granted. Harralson is here to remind us to make the most of every moment.
