Pulses. Return with Short LP That Will Blow Your Mind

Pulses. is a 4 piece post hardcore band from Virginia. The group formed in 2015 as a result of a successful Battle of the Bands Competition.
I became familiar with them because they are good friends with one of our favorite bands, With Sails Ahead.
In the past, pulses. have played shows with Eidola, Kurt Travis and many more.

Their new EP Speak Less serves as a companion to it’s predecessor, Speak it into Existence:

It works effectively in the male body to have tougher viagra prescription uk erection still in the company of sexual motivation. Take a sigh of relief and order the drug via the internet. buying cialis from canada sildenafil pill So, join the brigade and be a happy-go-lucky person with us. Self-care and the care viagra australia mastercard of other family members must become the priority.

If you’ve been reading my reviews for any amount of time you know I appreciate short songs. Mostly because of my rapidly deteriorating attention span.
Every song on Speak Less is less than 2 minutes and it’s so satisfying.
This EP has a punchy attitude and groove based rhythms, like if Touché Amoré spent a summer listening to math rock.
There’s a Deftones type intensity to the guitar chords and some of the vocal performances.
“Miss Me” may be the closest thing to a pop song on the record.
The band definitely pulled out some of their best material for this one.
There are a few 30 second interlude type tracks that really add some ambience to the project as a whole.
The length of the tracks makes it easy to digest the main ideas of each individual song.
This record is made complete with a Lauryn Hill reference on “As a Treat”.
