Who is The Glow of Streetlights?

The Glow of Streetlights is a post-apocalyptic hip-hop artist from my home town of Fort Myers, Florida. He’s been creating and performing for over a decade and has now played over 500 live shows.
You may also know him from his now disbanded project, Siracha Chakra.

I’ve seen him perform many times and his passion on stage is unmatched.
Not only is TGOSL a prolific lyricist and a talented musician, but he’s also a relentless supporter of fellow independent artists.
He has organized and promoted many shows around South Florida, even a few with me some years back. He can often be found using his Twitter account to help create a close knit community of artists who support each other.

With subject matter ranging from ancient history to occult magic, TGOSL has clearly spent years extending his vocabulary. His way of presenting conscious lyrics in a more modern trap cadence is massively different from most things you’ll hear in 2021.
There’s an element to this album that feels like listening to music from the future. This is an artist way ahead of his time, rapping about seasoned broccoli and Tatami beds.
Don’t skip my personal favorite, Track 9, “Medical Goth” featuring Ghost Pepper, produced by Wave Mage.
