Troyak x Capturez Drop “Perspective” on Ninety9Lives

Troyak is a Ukranian producer from Chicago who gained notoriety when he became the resident DJ for Life in Color (world’s largest paint party).
He went on to share the stage with the likes of Laidback Luke and NERVO just to name a few.

Capturez is also a Chicago native who happens to be not only a producer but a professional wrestler. He started out a normal human being but got thrown into a video game world where he became a cyberpunk luchador raccoon. Being turned into a nocturnal animal seems to have worked in his favor because Capturez has garnered support from acts such as Don Diablo and Hardwell.

This is the second time the two Chi Town producers have collaborated. The first time being on the track “Next To Me”.
Their new release “Perspective” is equal parts Electro House, Glitch Hop, and Progressive House. It’s a sonic journey to be sure. The song begins with a driving bass line and fades into sounds that remind me of floating through space.

“To me, this song is about gaining perspective through the virtue of travel. When we travel, we step outside our comfort zones and dive into the unknown. It gets you into this child-like state and that’s how I wanted this song to make people feel. I feel like a lot of the cultural and racial issues we face could be solved if we just left the house more and stepped into another person’s world, and “Perspective” was written to remind you to try to leave the house.” – Troyak

One of the things I like most about this particular song is it’s pace. It keeps tension building without being overly intense.
As I said, it is certainly a journey that takes you to many different places and emotions.
It seems futuristic in that it’s pretty different from most dance tracks I hear. I could see hearing this in a club and getting completely lost in the audio frequencies.
