Public Prism is an independent music project directed by Rob Massar from Rochester, NY. His music explores the expression of poetry and song, delivering a playful, yet raw pop feel with genre bending experiments.
Rob Massar was born in Western New York. He became acquainted with DAW programs at an early age, and learned to play a few instruments, while writing songs and crafting lyrics. After a life crisis he set music aside to study Zen meditation, and dedicated his time to practice. Public Prism was born during this time as a collection of poems and a few demo songs, eventually blooming into a clear vision for Rob to authentically create and explore his voice through music.
