EZIA is a singer/songwriter from Latvia. Her elementary school provided music education, which was the catalyst for her love for all things music. That continued on to her studies at The New School in New York.
Right before the pandemic, EZIA was touring in Mexico with House act Jungle Feelings.
Her new single “Yesterday Go Away” is a smooth R&B influenced pop song. There’s clearly influence from some of my childhood favorites like Destiny’s Child and TLC.
The extremely chill, almost trippy instrumental fused with EZIA’s glossy vocals made me think that this song needs a tropical house remix immediately.
The idea of putting the past behind us is something I think is so important. Once we teach ourselves to do that, we can move on and focus on the present that we’re living in.
