When I first saw the Shaky Beats line up, it wasn’t the likes of Major Lazer or Odesza that got me super pumped about the festival. Duke Dumont was the name I squealed just before exclaiming “I NEED TO GO!!” So with it all kicking off in just 10 days – we present Duke Dumont in our second installment of Shaky Beats Music Festival features.
My romance with the English DJ and record producer began with a feature on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show back in late 2013. I owe a lot to Annie in terms of discovering House Music. Dumont’s latest single Ocean Drive, was released last July, but it is still going strong with sales and chart positions. Even going double platinum in Australia.
