For A Minor Reflection is a Post-Rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland. They have a very similar sound to Explosions in the Sky in earlier releases. Although, in later releases, they branch out and define a more unique sound.
I ended up finding them through KEXP Seattle’s videos of For A Minor Reflection’s sets at the Iceland Airwaves festival. Their live performances of “Impulse” and “Ókyrrð” alone left me hooked and wanting more (see videos below). They quickly became one of my favorite bands and one of my biggest influences for composing music.
